Language
The official language of JCCC 2023 is English.
Climate & Clothing
The weather in Tel-Aviv in June is hot. No rain. Temperatures range 30°C- 24°C (86°F – 75°F). Casual dress is appropriate for all occasions. We suggest that you bring light clothing for the day and a jacket for the evening. Comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, hats, suntan lotion and swimsuits are recommended for tours and outdoors activities.

Entry Visa
Passport holders of EU countries, the USA and Canada, do not require entry visas to Israel. For participants from other countries we suggest you check the website of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the following links or check with your local Israeli embassy, consulate or travel agent.

A letter of invitation will be issued upon request. This invitation is prepared solely to assist with visa application or participation requirements. It is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the Scientific Program. Electricity
The Israeli power supply is single phase 220 volts at 50 Hertz. Most power sockets in Israel have three-pin holes, but many  will work with double-pin European plugs.

Currency / Exchange
The currency unit in Israel is the New Israeli Shekel (NIS), “Shekel” in short.
International credit cards are accepted for payment in most hotels, restaurants and shops. Exchange offices and ATM machines are easily available throughout the city and at Ben-Gurion International Airport. We recommend that you change some money at the airport for immediate needs.

Tipping
When a restaurant bill does not include service, a 12% tip should be added. In hotels, guests may tip the bellhop or any other service provider. Taxi drivers are generally not tipped.

Liability and Insurance
The Conference Secretariat and Organizers of JCCC 2023 cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.JCC
